Jewelry care
Your Andréanne Patry jewelry can last a lifetime if you care for it with love and respect. However, since it's handmade, it must be treated with care. Please follow these care instructions to extend the life of your pieces.
PROLONGED CONTACT WITH AIR
To prevent your jewelry from oxidizing due to prolonged contact with air, we strongly recommend that you individually store your Andréanne Patry pieces in the fabric pouch provided with each purchase when not being worn. These pouches are also perfect for carrying your jewelry in your handbag and travel suitcase.
SKIN ACIDITY
Keep in mind that everyone's skin acidity is different, which can affect the level of oxidation or wear on your jewelry. It may lighten or darken over time. To keep it clean and protected, polish your pieces with a soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners, as this may damage the finish.
THE PLATING
To ensure the longevity of the plating and maintain its quality, keep your jewelry away from water, perfumes, and chemicals. Therefore, avoid putting on your jewelry before applying perfume or hairspray. Remove and set aside your jewelry when performing household chores or washing your hands, when going to the pool or beach, and when sleeping or exercising.
SETTING CRYSTALS
All crystals are hand-set. If a setting's prong should become stuck somewhere and pop up, hold the crystal with your finger to keep it in place and gently push the prong down with a pair of tweezers or a hard, flat object like a butter knife to securely close the prong. Be careful not to scratch the crystal.
